The river is still fishing good and the flows over the weekend were still excellent for float trips. Most fish came on traditional flies and bigger fish are getting spread out through the runs, but the small fish were still holding together. Flies: Princes, Zebras, Frenchie’s and Hairs Ear’s were all taking fish.
I have been on the river the last four weekends and it’s gotten better each weekend. Tva is running a weekend schedule so Saturday and Sunday’s are your best day to book a trip. Mop flys along with the traditional flys have been working well and I have been netting some nice bow’s with a […]
The Cumberland river still has been fishing well into late fall. Colder weather is moving in this weekend, but there might be some opportunities to get on the river next week. Bigger flies are working well along with pheasant tails and zebras.

The Cumberland River is still fishing well and generation schedule is still looking good most days. Trout are still taking phesent tails, princes and zebra midges. Smaller flys are working the best. Still plenty of time to book a guide trip on the Cumberland River.
The river is fishing better everyday now that the TVA has added some oxygen to the river. Now is the is the time to get out and fish. Flys: Princes, Zebras and Phesent Tails.
The Cumberland has been fishing well. Netting a lot of small fish with some 18s in the mix. Flys: Pheasant Tales, Princes, Soft Hackles and Zebras all have been working well.
Fishing on the Cumberland has been fantastic this spring. The upper section of the river has had the best fishing all spring. Traditional flys are working well, Princes, Phesent Tails and Zebras. I have netted several big fish for clients, so check out all of my pictures on face book when you get a chance.
The river is still fishing good. I had out Jeff and Dean who were in the right lanes all day long and they caught some huge bows. It was great to have them out, making some new friends and having a blast. Fly selection: phesent tails, black tung teasers, and old faithful zebra midges.
