Who said trout fishing in Kentucky is not world class? The fly fishing on the Cumberland River has been outstanding the last couple of months, and I don’t look forward to this could weather that has moved in. The best fishing has been the fist five miles below the dam and fish have been taking dries, worms, sow bugs, phesent tails and mop flys. The biggest challenge has been the constant flow of water which has pushed the fishing to the bank, but if you can catch a good low water schedule that’s when the river has fished best. If the weather warms up and you looking to get on the river give me a call!
