The Cumberland river has been fishing really good over the last two months. I have been netting several nice fish each trip and this past weekend was no different. The water has been low and clear as of resent due to the lack of rain and low water flows. I am seeing a few sulfurs come off the water, but the main hatch I am seeing now is midges and it seems to be the predominant food source up river. 5x and up with small midges has been the ticket in low water. Now is a great time to book a guided trip on the Cumberland River!
