I was able to get a couple of guide trips in before the rain hit a two weeks ago and the fishing was fantastic. At that time I was not seeing any cicadas and fish were coming on traditional nymphs like pheasant tails. I have seen a Instagram post since then and have been told that cicadas have been spotted so, I am looking forward to getting back on the water this weekend and see if there is any top water action yet. Yes predicted flows are starting to look good again so now is a great time to book a guided trip on the Cumberland River!
